U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 05-3881
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri - St. Louis
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Murphy and Melloy, Circuit
   Judges]
Criminal case - criminal law. Defendant's plea of not guilty to the offense of being a felon in possession of a firearm placed his knowledge of the presence of a firearm in issue, and evidence that he had possessed a firearm on a previous occasion was relevant to show knowledge and intent; as a result, admission of his 1986 conviction for robbery in the first degree was proper. Judge Melloy, dissenting.
