   Criminal case - Sentencing. Under the deferential standard established
   by Gall, the district court has substantial latitude to determine how to
   weigh various factors under Sec. 3553(a), and the court's decision to
   place greater emphasis on factors that favored a sentence within the
   advisory Guidelines range, such as the need to deter crime, to protect the
   public and to avoid sentencing disparities, was a permissible exercise of
   discretion and did not render the sentence unreasonable.
