U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 21-1279
U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri - Kansas City
[PUBLISHED] [Kobes, Author, with Colloton and Grasz, Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - Criminal law. The district court did not err when it found
defendant gave the sheriff's deputies permission to enter the house when
she told them to "come in;" the district court was presented with two
conflicting stories about the location of the weapons in question and it
did not clearly err in determining that the deputies could see the weapons
from outside the living room and that they did not exceed the scope of
defendant's consent to their entry.
