U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 21-2160
U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota
[PUBLISHED] [Kobes, Author, with Erickson and Melloy, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Title VII. Even assuming that plaintiff could make a prima
facie case that defendants did not renew her contract because of her
sexual orientation, they provided a legitimate, non-discriminatory basis
for the decision - to create an opportunity for a new Division I head
coach to select his or her own staff - which plaintiff failed to show was
a pretext for discrimination.
