U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 00-1364
Eastern District of Missouri
Civil Case - disability discrimination. Grant of summary judgment
to school district is affirmed. Disabled employee who was terminated
presented insufficient evidence to support an inference of discrimination
and a causal connection between his disability and his termination;
employee failed to demonstrate he was treated differently from others
similarly situated to create an inference of discrimination; and employee
was not entitled to accommodation because he contended he was capable
of performing the essential functions of the position.
