   of excessive force during an arrest is affirmed. District court did not 
   abuse its discretion in excluding evidence of another bad act officer 
   allegedly committed under either Rule 404 or 403. District court did 
   not erred in permitting the pretrial order or answer to be amended after 
   the close of the evidence to conform to the evidence presented at trial 
   regarding a self-defense theory or by instructing the jury on self-defense.
