Civil case - Attorney discipline. When an attorney subjected to state
discipline based on a report by the U.S. trustee attempted to hold
the trustee in civil contempt for failure to submit to a deposition,
the district court properly removed the contempt portion of the
disciplinary proceeding to federal as 28 U.S.C. Sec. 1442(a)(1)
protects federal officials from civil or contempt liability for their
actions and permits removal of such actions to federal court; trustee's
action in referring the matter to the appropriate state bar committee
was done in the course of carrying out her official duties and did
not amount to a waiver of sovereign immunity by the U.S.
