006068P.pdf 01/04/2001 Patricia A. Siemer v. Donald Nangle
U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 00-6068
   Eastern District of Missouri
Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. Illinois judgment for damages for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act was a debt for willful and malicious conduct and was not dischargeable; bankruptcy court did not err in giving collateral estoppel effect to the Illinois judgment; however, bankruptcy court erred in giving collateral estoppel effect to a Missouri contempt order related to Siemer's attempt to enforce the Illinois judgment since the contempt order was not a final order.
