Civil case - employment. Evidence was insufficient as a matter of law to
establish plaintiff was wrongfully terminated, and the district court
erred in submitting the claim to the jury; failure to provide plaintiff
with a service letter under Missouri law was the result of reckless
indifference to her statutory rights and failure was sufficient
to support an award of punitive damages; district court did not
err in ordering a remittitur on the punitive damages, reducing
them from $57,850 to $25,000.
