U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 01-1201
                          and No: 01-1202
   Western District of Missouri
Civil case - employment. Evidence was insufficient as a matter of law to establish plaintiff was wrongfully terminated, and the district court erred in submitting the claim to the jury; failure to provide plaintiff with a service letter under Missouri law was the result of reckless indifference to her statutory rights and failure was sufficient to support an award of punitive damages; district court did not err in ordering a remittitur on the punitive damages, reducing them from $57,850 to $25,000.
