U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 01-1655
Northern District of Iowa
Criminal case - Sentencing Guidelines. District court did not
err in counting a 1998 conviction for marijuana possession
as relevant conduct rather than as a separate offense for
criminal history purposes; the drug conviction was not a
severable and distinct offense from the conspiracy charged
here, as the offenses had temporal and geographic proximity
and involved the same criminal scheme and the same types of drugs.
