U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 01-1994
Western District of Arkansas
Civil case - contracts. Evidence supported submission of tortious
interference with contract claim, as well as jury verdict for
plaintiff on that claim; however, plaintiff failed to establish
claim for anticipatory profits, and court did not err in setting
aside the jury verdict on actual damages on the tortious interference
claim; in absence of actual damages, there was no error in the court's
refusal to submit punitive damages.
