U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 02-1827
Eastern District of Arkansas
Civil case - civil rights. District court did not err in finding that
twenty of plaintiff's twenty-one failure-to-promote claims were
not the subject of timely EEO complaints and could not be
considered; with respect to the one complaint which was
properly before the court, the district court did not err in
finding plaintiff had failed to show that defendant's legitimate,
non-discriminatory ground for its decision was a pretext for
race discrimination; plaintiff failed to produce sufficient
evidence to lead a reasonable jury to conclude she was
subjected to a hostile work environment, and the district court
did not err in granting summary judgment for the employer
on this claim.
