U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 02-2078
Southern District of Iowa
Civil case - civil rights. Under the McDonnell Douglas
analysis, plaintiff failed to show employer's legitimate,
non-discriminatory grounds for his discharge were pretexts
for discrimination based on his race or national origin; claim
of fraudulent representation with respect to plaintiff's firing
failed under Iowa law, as the employer did not make any
false representations concerning plaintiff's continued employment.
