U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 02-3138
and No: 02-3452
Eastern District of Missouri
Civil case - civil rights. District court did not err in granting
employer's motion for summary judgment on plaintiff's
sexual harassment claim, as lone grabbing incident and
subsequent encounter did not rise to the level of severe or
pervasive conduct to alter the conditions of plaintiff's
employment and create an abusive work environment, and
defendant took prompt and effective remedial action once
it was alerted to the incidents; district court did not abuse
its discretion in awarding employer attorneys' fees, as
plaintiff's contradictory and inconsistent submissions
established her claim was baseless.
