Civil Case - civil rights. Jury verdict against officer of illegal entry and
against supervisors and Board for failing to train officers is affirmed.
Jury finding officer who shot plaintiff during no-know entry acted
reasonably did not bar finding of proximate cause against other officers.
District court did not err in finding as a matter of law that no exigent
circumstances existed because police did not give a legally sufficient
reason for dispensing with the know and announce rule. District court
did not err in admitting expert testimony. District court did not err in
denying motion for mistrial.. Chief Judge Loken dissents.
