Criminal case - criminal law. Provisions of Fed. R. Crim. P. 32.1(a)(1)
requiring a hearing to determine whether there is probable cause to
believe that a violation of supervised release has occurred apply only to
individuals in custody solely for violation of probation or supervised
release, and do not apply when the individual is also being held on
charges he has committed state law crimes; Interstate Agreement on
Detainers Act does not apply to pretrial detainee held on state law charges
and on federal violations of supervised release; any decision regarding
credit for time served was properly left to the Bureau of Prisons.
