032422P.pdf 03/04/2004 Beverly Anderson v. Dassault Aviation
U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 03-2422
   Eastern District of Arkansas
Civil case - Torts. In diversity action to recover injuries incurred on Dassault Falcon business jet manufactured in France, the district court erred in finding it lacked personal jurisdiction over Dassault, as Dassault had sufficient contacts with Arkansas to create a basis for jurisdiction; the majority of jets sold worldwide by Dassault fly in and out of Arkansas to be completed there to customer's specifications at Dassault's wholly owned subsidiary and exclusive distributor of business jets in the western hemisphere.
