U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 03-3487
   Eastern District of Missouri
Criminal Case - criminal law. District court erred in denying attorney's application for admission pro hac vice and thus deprived defendant of right to counsel of his choice. Denial of a criminal defendant's Sixth Amendment right to be represented by the attorney he selected results in automatic reversal of the conviction; error belongs to class of fundamental constitutional errors and is never harmless. Conviction is reversed and case is remanded for new trial. [PUBLISHED] [Bye, Author, with Wollman, Circuit Judges]
