U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 04-1222
Eastern District of Missouri
Civil Case - employment discrimination. District court's grant of
summary judgment to school district is affirmed. Teacher failed to
establish prima facie case of race discrimination because she failed to
show she met the legitimate expectations of the position. Even if she
made a prima facie case, teacher failed to show her termination for poor
performance was pretextual. Teacher failed to show causal connection
between complaint and termination to make a case for retaliation.
District court did not err in striking unauthenticated and inadmissible
exhibits. .[PUBLISHED] [Riley, Author with John R. Gibson and
Gruender, Circuit Judges]
