U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 04-1893
Southern District of Iowa
[PUBLISHED] [Bye, Author, with Hansen and Gruender, Circuit
Judges]
Prisoner case - habeas. Based on the evidence presented at Liggins'
murder trial, the district court did not err in finding reasonable the Iowa
courts' determination that the evidence was sufficient to support a
conviction for first degree murder; presumption of territorial jurisdiction
by the Iowa courts was neither irrational nor arbitrary; challenge to jury
instructions rejected; Brady claims rejected.
