Plaintiff failed to establish a hostile work environment, as the conduct complained of was not based on sex and was neither so severe nor so pervasive that it altered a term, condition or privilege of her employment; defendant could not be held vicariously liable as it exercised reasonable care to stop the harassment and plaintiff failed to take advantage of the company's preventive or corrective procedures; plaintiff failed to show the reasons given for her lay-off were pretexts for discrimination based on sex; plaintiff failed to establish her retaliation claim as there was no causal connection between the conduct and her termination.
