Criminal Case - conviction. In challenge to sufficiency of the evidence in conspiracy cases, while a defendant's role may be minor, the government must offer enough evidence to prove a defendant's connection to a conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt. Slight evidence rule is rejected. Evidence was sufficient to prove beyond reasonable doubt that defendant participated in the drug conspiracy. 042254P.pdf 07/18/2005 United States v.
