U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 04-2478
   Eastern District of Missouri
Criminal Case - criminal law. District court did not abuse its discretion in admitting evidence of prior dealing in crack cocaine and from the search of defendant's residence. Convictions and search were similar enough to the charged offense to support an inference of intent to distribute. The court's limiting instructions decreased the danger of unfair prejudice. Prior convictions which supported mandatory life sentence did not implicate Apprendi or Booker. [PUBLISHED] [Murphy, Author, with Chief Judge Loken and M. Arnold, Circuit Judges]
