U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 04-3560
and No: 04-3843
and No: 04-3561
Northern District of Iowa
[PUBLISHED] [Gruender, Author, with Murphy and McMillian, Circuit Judges]
Criminal cases - Sentencing. On government's appeal of defendants'
sentences, the court determines that the district court abused its discretion
in imposing sentences 54% and 58% below the low end of the
presumptively reasonable guidelines ranges applicable to the defendants;
the sentences were outside the range of reasonableness and the cases are
remanded for resentencing.
