Criminal case - criminal law. District court did not abuse its discretion in refusing defendant's requests for instructions on multiple conspiracies and his theory that he was an independent contractor rather than a conspirator; however the tax laws might describe defendant's relationship with the leader of the conspiracy, the evidence was more than sufficient to show he joined a conspiracy to distribute ecstasy.
