U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 06-1689
Western District of Missouri
[PUBLISHED] [Gruender, Author, with Wollman and Riley, Circuit Judges]
Civil Case - employment discrimination. District court's grant of
summary judgment in favor of employer in gender discrimination and
retaliation claims is affirmed. Employee failed to present evidence
that would permit an inference that gender was a factor in the
termination, as employee did not show she was treated differently from
similarly situated males in her termination or in the reduction-in-force.
Retaliation claim failed because employee filed to prove a causal
connection between protected activity and adverse action.
