U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 06-1767
   Immigration & Naturalization Service
[PUBLISHED] [Wollman, Author, with Beam and Riley, Circuit Judges]
Petition for Review - immigration. Decision to deny asylum based on frivolousness was supported by substantial evidence, as Petitioner lied and presented fraudulent evidence. Thus petitioner is ineligible for asylum or cancellation under the Violence Against Women Act. The withholding of removal and relief under the Convention Against Torture claims fail, as petitioner, who was assessed to lack credibility, did not support her suggestion that she would be persecuted as a woman and targeted by Hussein loyalists, and did not establish past torture or evidence suggesting future torture.
