U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 06-1981
U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota
[PUBLISHED] [Loken, Author, with Melloy, Circuit Judge, and
   Schiltz, District Judge]
Civil case - Insurance law. Insurer did not have a duty to defendant Pins in a suit for alienation of affection as under South Dakota law the injured spouse may only recover on a claim for alienation of affection if he shows the defendant intended to cause that specific injury; given that principle, any loss to the injured spouse was expected or intended and could not be considered a covered accident under Pin's policy.
