Criminal case - Sentencing. District court erred in reducing defendant's sentence from 216 to 180 months, as when the government files a motion under 18 U.S.C. Sec. 3553(e) for a reduction below the statutory minimum, the court cannot reduce the sentence further based on other factors unrelated to the assistance; district court did not err in rejecting defendant's argument that his life expectancy should serve as the starting point for calculating a life sentence; district court's decision to reduce defendant's sentence by the equivalent of six guideline ranges was not an abuse of discretion; case remanded with directions to impose a sentence of 216 months.
