U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 06-2387
U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa - Sioux City
[PUBLISHED] [Bye, Author, with Colloton and Benton, Circuit
Judges]
Criminal case - criminal law and sentencing. Evidence was sufficient
to support conviction for possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug
crime; no error in denying minor-role reduction at sentencing as the
evidence supported the district court's finding that defendant was deeply
involved in the drug conspiracy; no error in denying reduction for
acceptance of responsibility as defendant's incomplete acceptance of
responsibility did not counter his negative obstructionist behavior; 295-
month sentence was not unreasonable.
