U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 06-3471
U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri - Jefferson City
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Hansen and Gruender, Circuit
Judges]
Civil case - civil rights. Crum had constitutionally adequate notice that
his medical license would be revoked for failure to pay state income tax;
the state gave Crum the opportunity for a hearing at a meaningful time
and in a meaningful manner, and his failure to request a hearing did not
prevent the state from revoking his license without a hearing; Missouri
Rev. Stat. Section 324.010 which provides for revocation of state licenses
for failure to pay state income tax does not violate Crum's equal
protection rights; Missouri law challenges to the statute rejected.
