U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 06-3841
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa - Des Moines
[PUBLISHED] [Bowman, Author, with Benton and Shepherd, Circuit
Judges]
Civil Case - social security. Denial of disability insurance and
supplemental security income benefits is supported by substantial
evidence, as ALJ (1) did not improperly weigh medical opinions in the
record, as medical opinion lacked consistency and treatment visits were
infrequent; (2) did not improperly discredit subjective complaints, as ALJ
properly identified the factors and considered relevant evidence; and (3)
did not err in determining claimant's residual functional capacity, as
determination is supported by evidence in the record.
