U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 06-3915
U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri - Kansas City
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Murphy and Hansen, Circuit
   Judges]
Criminal law and sentencing. Evidence was sufficient to support conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm; district court did not abuse its discretion in refusing to admit videotaped statements to impeach certain prosecution witnesses as defendant was given an adequate opportunity to present any inconsistencies in the witnesses' statements; under the law of this circuit, a prior walkaway escape is a violent felony for purposes of Armed Career Criminal Act; district court did not err in finding defendant possessed the firearm in connection with another felony offense.
