U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 06-3923
U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota - Minneapolis
[PUBLISHED] [Arnold, Author, with Colloton and Gruender, Circuit
Judges]
Civil case - Employment discrimination. Plaintiff failed to show she
was qualified to perform the essential functions of her job, and the
district court did not err in granting defendant summary judgment
on plaintiff's Americans with Disabilities Act claims; defendant had
no duty to accommodate plaintiff because she failed as a matter of
law to provide sufficient notice of her need for an accommodation;
with respect to plaintiff's Family Medical Leave Act claims, the
district court did not err in granting defendant summary judgment
because the record showed plaintiff failed to put defendant on notice
that she needed FMLA leave.
