U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 07-1062
U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota - St. Paul
[PUBLISHED] [Murphy, Author, with Melloy and Smith, Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - criminal law. Evidence was sufficient to support
Minneapolis City Councilman's conviction on charges of accepting a
gratuity in violation of 18 U.S.C. Sec. 666(a)(1)(B); there was also
sufficient evidence to show that defendant was predisposed to accept a
gratuity and that he was not entrapped; district court did not abuse its
discretion in limiting the number of constituent witnesses defendant was
allowed to call.
