Criminal Case - suppression. Officer ordering passenger back into the stopped vehicle during a traffic stop was reasonable under the Fourth Amendment. Minimal intrusion on personal liberty is far outweighed by safety concern of the officer and his need to be in command of the situation. Because detention was reasonable, the gun found in the passenger's pocket was not the product of an illegal search and motion to suppress was properly denied.
