U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 07-1582
U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota - St. Paul
[PUBLISHED] [Chief Judge Loken, Author, with Gruender and
Benton, Circuit Judges]
Criminal Case - suppression. District court's denial of motion to suppress
properly held arrest was supported by probable cause; officers adequately
investigated informants' reliability and substantially corroborated
informant's information. District court's findings are not clearly
erroneous. Due process claim that warrantless search and lost warrant
constituted outrageous government conduct was waived by guilty plea,
which preserved only the Fourth Amendment claim.
