Criminal case - criminal law and sentencing. Record concerning
defendant's claim of ineffective assistance of counsel was fully
developed and claim would be considered in his direct appeal; claim that
counsel was ineffective for failing to call three possible defense
witnesses is rejected; claim that relationship between defendant and
counsel broke down so completely as render her assistance ineffective is
also rejected; district court adequately considered defendant's arguments
for a downward variance and adequately stated its reasons for the sentence
imposed.
