and No: 07-3281
Board of Immigration Appeals
[PUBLISHED] [Wollman, Author, with Murphy and Smith, Circuit Judges]
Petition for Review - immigration. Petition for review of decision
denying asylum, withholding of removal and relief under the Convention
Against Torture to Nigerian Christian is denied. Alanwoko did not seek
asylum or refugee status in other countries he traveled through, and
evidence he was subjected to past persecution on the basis of his
religion was not so compelling. Board of Immigration Appeals did not
abuse its discretion in denying motion to reopen based on new evidence of
persecution of other soccer player because he did not establish attack on
soccer player was related to religious persecution.
