U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 07-3602
and No: 07-3603
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas - Little Rock
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Loken, Chief Judge, and Ebel,
Circuit Judge]
Criminal case - Sentencing. District court plainly erred in sentencing
defendants when it impermissibly applied a presumption of
reasonableness to the advisory guidelines range, and the matter must be
remanded for resentencing; district court did not err by increasing
defendant Sharon Alexander's offense level under Guidelines Sec.
3B1.1(a) for a leadership role in the offense.
