U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 07-3895
Board of Immigration Appeals
[PUBLISHED] [Gruender, Author, with Wollman and Smith, Circuit Judges]
Petition for Review - Immigration. Immigration Judge's and BIA's
adverse credibility determinations are supported by numerous material
inconsistencies that go to the heart of petitioner's asylum claim; IJ is not
compelled to accept testimony about sexual assault without corroboration
in light of overall credibility problems; as the IJ and BIA did not err in
denying petitioner's asylum claim they did not err in finding she did not
meet the rigorous standard for withholding of removal. Judge Wollman,
dissenting.
