U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 08-1131
Board of Immigration Appeals
[PUBLISHED] [Shepherd, Author, with Gruender and Beam, Circuit Judges]
Petition for Review - Immigration. Immigration Judge's adverse credibility
findings concerning petitioner's testimony were supported by substantial
evidence in the record; having failed to demonstrate past persecution as a
result of the IJ's adverse credibility determination, petitioner was not
entitled to a presumption of a well-founded fear of future persecution and
had failed to produce any evidence to suggest a likelihood that he would be
persecuted if returned to Mauritania.
