U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 08-1247
U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri - Kansas City
[PUBLISHED] [Riley, Author, with Bowman and Colloton, Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - criminal law. In prosecution for sex trafficking of a child, the district court did not err in denying defendant's pretrial motions to admit evidence that the child had prostituted herself before and after the charged offense, as the evidence was not admissible under Rule 412; in any event, the evidence he sought to admit would not provide a defense to the charged offense and would not have been properly admitted to challenge the witness's credibility.
