Civil case - Employment discrimination. Plaintiff failed to produce
direct evidence linking his discharge and any bias against him as a man;
applying the McDonnell Douglas analysis, plaintiff failed to show that his
discharge was not based on his employer's good faith belief that he
committed the misconduct justifying his relief; plaintiff failed to make a
submissible case that he was discharged in retaliation for activity
protected under Title VII; plaintiff failed to make a submissible case that
he was retaliated against for exercising his free speech rights under the
First Amendment and the Arkansas Constitution because the speech he
pointed to in support of his claim was motivated by private, rather than
public, concerns.
