[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Bye and Beam, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Employment discrimination. Plaintiff failed to produce direct evidence linking his discharge and any bias against him as a man; applying the McDonnell Douglas analysis, plaintiff failed to show that his discharge was not based on his employer's good faith belief that he committed the misconduct justifying his relief; plaintiff failed to make a submissible case that he was discharged in retaliation for activity protected under Title VII; plaintiff failed to make a submissible case that he was retaliated against for exercising his free speech rights under the First Amendment and the Arkansas Constitution because the speech he pointed to in support of his claim was motivated by private, rather than public, concerns.
