U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 08-1425
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa - Davenport
[PUBLISHED] [Wollman, Author, with Smith and Gruender, Circuit
Judges]
Civil case - Social Security. ALJ properly applied the Polaski factors in
evaluating claimant's subjective complaints, and the ALJ's credibility
determinations were supported by the record as a whole; ALJ did not err
in discounting treating physician's opinion concerning claimant's
physical limitation and did not err in finding that claimant's mental
impairments did not restrict his daily activities, social functioning and
concentration: ALJ's finding that claimant did not equal a listed
impairment is supported by substantial evidence.
