Criminal case - criminal law and sentencing. Evidence was sufficient to support defendant's convictions for burglary and assault; district court did not err in denying defendant's motion to sever a count for assault of a federal officer; no error in admitting 404(b) evidence of prior convictions for assault and resisting arrest as they were not remote in time, were similar in kind to the charges being tried and went to rebut defendant's self-defense claim; jury instruction on assault of a federal officer were not erroneous; no error in imposing sentencing enhancements under Guidelines Sec. 2A2.2(b)(3)(A) and 2A2.4(b)(2).
