Criminal case - criminal law and sentencing. In prosecution for
possession of crack with intent to distribute and conspiracy, no error in
admitting evidence of defendant's prior drug conviction and evidence that
defendant brandished a firearm and threatened the arresting officers; no
error in imposing a two-level enhancement for obstruction of justice
based on the district court's determination that defendant perjured
himself at trial; 262-month sentence was neither unreasonable nor a
violation of the Eighth Amendment's prohibition against cruel and
unusual punishment.
