U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 08-3138
U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa, Waterloo
[PUBLISHED] [Smith, Author, with Riley and Colloton, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Social Security. ALJ did not err in discounting treating
physicians' opinions when there was conflicting evidence about
claimant's ability to perform work; nor did the ALJ err in rejecting
claimant's subjective complaints based on other evidence about her daily
activities; record showed the ALJ considered claimant's obesity in
reaching his decision; hypothetical posed to the vocational expert was not
erroneous because it excluded the subjective pain allegations the ALJ
considered to be unsupported by the record.
