U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 08-3243
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa - Davenport
[PUBLISHED] [Wollman, Author, with John R. Gibson and Murphy,
   Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - criminal law. Affidavit supplied in support of search warrant application contained specific facts and was not too conclusory to establish probable cause; evidence that defendant had attempted to entice a child into his apartment was a factor that a judicial officer could reasonably rely upon in determining to issue a warrant to search defendant's computers for evidence of child pornography, especially when part of the enticement was an offer to let child watch movies; in any event, the officers acted reasonably in carrying out the search and the child pornography found in the home was admissible. Judge John R. Gibson, dissenting.
