court's instructions and set aside any initial impressions; hearsay
challenges to admission of three pieces of evidence rejected;
constitutional challenge to the federal kidnapping statute rejected as the
statute is not unconstitutionally vague and overbroad; life sentence is not
unconstitutionally disproportionate given the nature and scope of the
crime and defendant's actions. Judge Bye, dissenting.
